This extraordinary tour explores the pristine wildlife sanctuaries of Botswana, including the flood plains of the Okavango River and Chobe National Park. We also experience 2 game reserves in the wild Caprivi Strip and the mighty Zambezi River at the famous Victoria Falls.

Day 1: Windhoek Arrival in Windhoek, the capital of Namibia. Spend the day at leisure in this interesting city. At 5:15 pm departure from the bus depot. Arrival in Rundu at 3:25 am the following morning. Here you will be picked up and transferred to your guesthouse.
Day 2: Kavango River near Rundu Here you can swim, go horseback riding or just relax for the day. In the afternoon we will go for a sundowner cruise to Angola (10 Euro). Then the locals will demonstrate some tribal dancing and a scrumptious buffet meal will be prepared for us (dances and dinner 20 Euro pp). BL
Day 3 & 4: The Okavango Delta 2 nights are spent in the Okavango River area, which is one of the world's last natural wonders. We explore this waterway paradise with its unparalleled wildlife. A highlight is a full day excursion, starting at Popa Falls. We use mokoros (local canoes) to get into the pan handle swamps where we visit a local village. In the afternoon we visit Mahango / Bwabwata Game reserve with its lush vegetation, a rich bird life and a variety of interesting game, including Sable and Roan antelope, elephant, hippo and crocodile. (This excursion is at own expense, 80 Euro pp). BLD
Day 5: Caprivi Strip We drive through the Caprivi Strip, a unique area with large herds of elephants. In the evening we reach Kasane in Botswana after an interesting drive through Chobe National Park. BL
Day 6: Chobe Nationalpark Today we have the option to go on a sundowner game-viewing cruise on the Chobe River and/or undertake a game drive in an open 4 x 4 vehicle through Chobe National Park. (35 Euro each or 50 Euro for both). BL
Day 7 & 8: Victoria Falls, Livingstone An early departure takes us to the famous Victoria Falls, the adventure capital of Africa. Here you can take a walk in the nature reserve along the falls, try some optional White Water Rafting, Bungee Jumping or take in the spectacular scenery on a helicopter flight (all optional). B
Day 9: End of the tour after breakfast. A transfer to Johannesburg or Cape Town can be booked.
