As from 1st of December 2007 these new safaris are available at an introduction price. You spend the day game viewing at Kruger National Park of South Africa and a Private Game Reserves. Relax at a comfy Safari Lodge with Swimming Pool and enjoy 3-course dinners around a log fire under the stars.

Itinerary for the 3 day Safari

 

Day 1   Private Reserve      South Africa

Lodge and Pool
We depart from Johannesburg and head for the Greater Kruger Park area, arriving at a Private Safari Lodge in time for lunch. We settle into camp after which we head off on a late afternoon/evening Big Five game drive in open 4x4 vehicles. Sundowner drinks are enjoyed at one of the waterholes before continuing our game drive into the night. After an exciting evening, we return to camp to enjoy a traditional South African meal around a log fire. (D)

 

Day 2   Kruger National Park South Africa

Up at sunrise, we board an open 4x4 vehicle and head for the world renowned Kruger National Park.  Our game drive takes us to some of the best game drive routes within the Park, giving us the opportunity to view the varied landscapes, ecosystems and abundant wildlife. The entire day is spent game viewing, bird watching and stopping off at the various waterholes. After an awesome day’s game viewing, we return to the Lodge and enjoy a boma dinner. (BD)

 

Day 3   Johannesburg      South Africa

We begin our day with coffee and rusks before venturing out on an early morning nature walk. Guided by qualified rangers, we learn about nature’s finer details like bird, tree and spoor identification.  We enjoy brunch at the Lodge before travelling along the Drakensberg Escarpment to view the spectacular setting of the Three Rondawels overlooking the Blyde River Canyon. We then continue our journey en-route to Johannesburg, arriving in the late afternoon. (B)

Day 1   Private Reserve      South Africa

Day 2     Kruger National Park       South Africa

An early rise, as we make our way to the world renowned Kruger National Park. We enter the Kruger Park through one of the central gates, where our wildlife experience unfolds. We enjoy breakfast at one of the picnic spots before continuing through the Park. The entire day will be spent game viewing, bird watching and stopping off at the various waterholes en- route. Our safari takes us along some of the best game drive routes that Kruger has to offer. We depart the Park at sunset and return to the Lodge for an evening of relaxation. (BD)  

 


Day 3   Private Reserve      South Africa

After a hearty breakfast we spend the day at leisure, relaxing at the Lodge or taking part in the various optional activities on offer. We end the day with a late afternoon/evening game drive. Guided by the aid of spotlights, we track the elusive creatures of the night, after which we return to the Lodge to enjoy a boma dinner. (BLD)

 

Day 4   Johannesburg      South Africa

We begin our day with coffee and rusks before venturing out on an early morning nature walk. Guided by qualified rangers, we learn about natures finer details like bird, tree and spoor identification. We then enjoy our last bushveld brunch before departing for Johannesburg. (B)

Blyde River Canyon
We depart the Lodge and make our way up the Drakensberg Escarpment. Our journey takes us along the Panoramic Route, some of the most stunning scenery South Africa has to offer. The sights en-route include: God’s Window, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, Three Rondawels and the magnificent Blyde River Canyon. After a full day of exploring we return to the Lodge and relax around the fire listening to the night sounds of Africa. (BD)
