The Veterinarian Safaris of SafariScout.com were mentioned by the german travel magazine GeoSaison in September 2008 under "Traveller's News". Publication day was 20 August 2008. In March 2009 GeoSaison recommended SafariScout.com in a travel report about a safari in South Africa.
The german TV station Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg (rbb) paid SafariScout.com a visit and interview Beate Gernhuber about her 10 years travelling through Southern Africa. "Dreaming of Adventure" was aired on 3 February 2007. The Potsdam daily newspaper "Märkische Allgemeine Zeitung" introduced the SafariScout.com tours and safaris on 20 September 2006 under the headline "Knowing the price of a beer in Namibia and where to find the last gorillas".
Another report about SafariScout.com owner Beate Gernhuber was published in the daily newspaper Potsdamer Neuesten Nachrichten on 2 November 2006. The headline again mentioned beer ;-) and read "A bottle of beer at Lake Malawi".
Andreas Klisch who did media studies in Potsdam caught the travel bug when surfing the SafariScout.com website and recommended the travel offers in his blog. Also the writers of the The PotsdamBlog got itchy feet after checking out the adventure tours on our website. SafariScout.com did its bit to promote Southern Africa and especially South Africa as safe and diverse travel and holiday destinations during the FIFA World Cup in South Africa 2010. To befound under www.wm-suedafrika.net . November 2009 saw SafariScout.com presenting itself for the first time at the Potsdam Travel Fair. The wellness, sports and travel fair FIT followed in June 2010.
In a brochure about self-employed women published by the Brandenburg Ministry of Work, Social Welfare, Women and Family in 2010 SafariScout Beate Gernhuber talks about her online travel agency business. To be found on page 14 or online here.
